SEPTEMBET 18th - Football season has begun! TEXAS! FIGHT! TEXAS! FIGHT!

Okay, enough of that. First of all, several of my friends from Texas have moved out here to the warm bosom or cold wasteland of LA. Welcome Mary, Stephane, and Chris! I've also made a slew of new friends, too many to mention. Through theatre, extra work, parties, through other people, myspace - I'm making new friends left and right.

I worked on The West Wing yet again, but this time I came away from it with the flu. But thanks to an easy schedule (i.e. nothing to do) and the miraculous heavenly divine powers of sweet sweet Theraflu... I made it out alive. Despite being sick, I still forced myself to do things, like go to a Texas Exes event at Formosa where I saw Nick Stohl (Terminator 3, Sin City, Carnivale).

I watched the Astros-Dodgers games on TV. I mention this only because of the really really cool game on Sunday Aug 28th. It was the comemoration of the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers world series title, so they decided to cast the game a little differently on Fox. They started out showing the game like they did back in 1955 - black and white, two cameras that couldn't move or even see the entire field, no graphics, etc. Then as the game progressed, they added technology through the years. By the 9th inning, they were showing the game as God intended - color, graphics, replays, and microphones in the bathrooms. It was a really cool experience.

On September 3rd, we threw our first official apartment party [see photos]. It was a good time, and everyone had fun. Sorry Evy for not having $100 scotch - we're poor. That same weekend, my best friend Andrew came to visit. Aside from a couple of awesome parties (winks at Sara), we also went to Chinatown and a baseball game.

September 10 saw one of the best football games in years. Pirennial powerhouses Ohio State and Texas met for the first time ever up in the Horseshoe in Columbus. Thanks to a fumble in the final few minutes of the game, Texas secured a 25-22 victory and a path to the national championship game in January at the Rosebowl... which is like 20 minutes from me by the way. *Crosses Fingers* And you can't mention Texas football this year without also mentioning how compltely horrible Oklahoma is doing. Awww... poor Sooners. I feel so bad for you. *smirks* It's too bad the running back can't play defense too, because they need all the help they can get.

I also worked the movie Accepted again and met some cool people. While on set, they were giving us college T-shirts to wear for the scene. They gave me an Eastern Ohio State shirt, and I mentioned the irony involving the football game days before. They told me to hold on a sec and pulled out a Texas shirt. I nearly had a heart attack with joy. Then they said they weren't sure if they had legal permission to use the logo, so they wanted to hold off and give it to me later. Then later I found out they gave the shirt to someone else... damnit. I wasn't too angry though, because at least the guy was from Dallas. Later that week, I worked on the UPN sitcom "One on One." I met people there and had a good time too. It's the Hollyween episode.

In addition, I went to a Playboy movie wrap party for 7Lives Exposed. Drinking with porn stars is fun!

Which brings me to the most important info on my list. My sketch show is starting this coming Saturday. Here's the info:

Muktikuishikyukkyuk: (Get Brad Laid) [yes, that's the name of the show]
A sketch comedy at The Next Stage Theatre
1523 N. La Brea, Hollywood
Just north of sunset above the Lava Lounge
Saturdays @8pm, Sept 24, Oct 1, 8, 15

I expect everyone that loves me to come. There is also a party on Sat. October 8th after the show. If you're interested in coming, please email me. That's it for now. Thanks for your interest in me!

I almost forgot my greatest accomplishment ever!

The Highest Tetris Level 9-5 Type B Score Ever! I know it's hard to read and sounds like a stupid accomplishment, but trust me when I say that few people in the world have ever done this. In fact, I'd put this score on the top 50 of all time. Think about that for a second, and think about how many millions of people have played this game. It's hard enough to get 4 tetrisi in a game, let alone 5. It's possible to get 7, but not bloody likely.
