Right Here

Adonai is a word I hear all the time
In every prayer, in every rhyme
People feel close to God, but are they
Near all time, night and day?
Some pick a prayer place, a Western Wall
To aid in their worship as a voluminous call
A temple, a church, a mosque, a shrine
For an ignorant many, there remain fine
A statue, an idol, a holy city
These wanderers I do pity
For me, Here will do just great
A direct link to God, lined straight
Point A is always stationary; in one place
Point B is uninterrupted whatever the case
I am to God as God is to me
All existence: Him + I = We
To the World I am but an insignificant ant
Understanding me, they regretfully can’t
I am important, as holy as it comes
God’s creatures are all sacred ones
All of the Life whisked and whirled
Not without Life did God create this world
Any place is holy, every person in this state
In proximity to God whatever our fate
100 miles away from our holiest site
Right here is just perfect to see God’s perfect light
