OCTOBER 17 - So much to talk about. So, so much. First of all, if the term "10 months" means anything to anyone, you can put a huge "X" through that. Ironies abound, and it's been a great week. Rosh Hashannah and Yom Kippur came and went. Ya know, Yom Kippur and asking people for forgiveness is probably the hardest thing to do in the world. Imagine having a fight with a best friend where both you and that person say some very hurtful things. Now imagine having to be the bigger man and apologizing for saying and doing things to have hurt that person. It's hard. It's so very hard to suck up your pride and choose to ask for forgiveness when you yourself have been hurt. In many cases, the other person apologizes as well, which makes it a bit easier. But then there are those stubborn few that don't think that they've done anything wrong despite seriously hurting your feelings. And the hard part in those situations - forgiving them without them asking and you yourself asking them to forgive you. It is one of the hardest things to do in the world, more difficult than being on stage or riding a rollercoaster or getting into a car accident. It is truly scary. But I think that's why Jews have Yom Kippur. You face your fears and make ammends. In a relationship with people in your life, someone has to be the bigger man and patch up the problems. Judaism gives its followers a time to do that so you can repair broken relationships. As hard as it is, I believe that jumping off that cliff is completely worth it. Asking your friends and family and even your enemies for forgiveness makes you feel better about yourself, makes you feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. There are always those you can never forgive, and it's understandable if you don't want to forgive. Try it. Find someone you're no longer talking to and apologize for whatever. It will make you feel good inside.
Okay, moving on. My show went very well, and we had 3 sellout audiences. The show was hillarious, and I am sorry to those who couldn't make it. The actors in my show are very talented, very caring people that I've come to think of as friends. I know that some of my friendships within that group will last for years to come. And I feel this would be a good time to thank Brandelynn. Thank you so very much. I don't know when I'll be in another show, but I'll keep everyone informed.

So I've met tons of new people and made new friends. Also, a few of my friends from back in Texas moved out here to L.A. I threw a great party last week at my place. I drank a WHOLE LOT and everyone had a great time. My new friend Todd was there - he's the Tchatchki's geeky flare guy from the movie "Office Space."

I worked a movie and a TV show since last we spoke. "Ghost Whisperer" was a fun show to work on (filmed on the set which used to be the clocktower in "Back to the Future"). I flirted with Jennifer Love Hewitt, and she is a very nice person. I also worked twice on the movie "Flags of Our Fathers," directed by Clint Eastwood. I talked with Jesse Bradford and Ryan Phillippe. I also got to walk on the field of the Rose Bowl, which was special for me because of the Texas-Michigan game. That leads me to my next topic...

TEXAS!! FIGHT!! TEXAS!! FIGHT!! My Horns are kicking some major ass out there every weekend. Awww poor Sooners. And then there's my Astros! If they win later tonight, I think I'll probably re-update this. GO 'STROS!
