AUGUST 18th - I just got back from a Daft Punk music video shoot. I went up on a bus of extras Monday morning from Glendale to Lonepine and Independence, CA 3.5 hours north. My friend my like 5 other projects I had worked on, Athena, was there with me, along with Cameron who I had met on set of Accepted two weeks ago. Along the way, I made friends with like 20 other people, and I have a feeling that some of them will become very good friends in the future. So after a day of trying on costumes and sitting around on Monday, we checked into our motel rooms and out drinking at the Double L bar. Marilyn was a good sport at darts in her losing effort. The next day, I was on set at 6:30 am. In holding, we played Super Mario World and Street Fighter on someone's computer and played variations of Six Degrees. Finally, after ten hours of taking up space in holding, I finally got into my robot costume. I could try and explain the music video, but that would be pointless since it made little sense. After shooting, we went back to Lonepine and the Double L. I played some more darts and shuffleboard (and drank), including one excellent game of dartswith Dan where by the end the first person to hit a bullseye won. I barely got past him to win. Anywho, 3 hours after going to sleep, I was on set at 5:30am. 8 hours more of sitting around, and I finally got into my robo-suit. Between shots, Cesar and I would keep our helmets on and tried to hitch-hike with passerbyers. I think I had about 20 people take my picture. We wrapped about 9pm, and we made it back into LA around 1am. Overall, it was a fun experience (basically a vacation that I got paid for). Wednesday afternoon was tough work that wore everyone down, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to make some friends and a little money.

Also, I updated the "Reel" section of my computer. There will be more in the near future, but that'll have to do for now.
